In parenting and life for that matter, somedays are good and some are bad, usually both can be described by actions (meaning something happened that made the day good or not so good) Well, today was a great day. Asa opened the Advent Calender door. In our family, we have a tradition that instead of opening a door each day, they start out open and each day Zane puts in a slip of paper that says something that he is thankful for and closes the door. Asa opened up a door and the paper said "Asa" both mommy and Asa were so happy that Zane did this all on his own. Asa recognized his name and was excited. No Words could describe how excited I was to see his face and how happy I was to know that his older brother made it a great day for him too.
