This is how "We get things done" in the kitchen. Asa is all help and can even now get onto the counter all by himslef, what a helper, so thoughtful not to break his momma's back anymore trying to lift him up.
On another note of helping, without even asking, Asa pushes the stool over to the counter, climbs up, turns on the kitchen sink and happily does the dishes. FOR REAL, he opened up the cabinet, got the dishwasher detergent out and tried to put in the flip open compartment, luckily I grabbed him before detergent was all over the floor, his intentions were the best.
